confusion about draining the battery

it seems there is some confusion about going thro a full cycle of completely draining the battery and then doing a full charge in 4s,i read its once a month thats recommended,can anyone confirm this?

I agree about the confusion. I think this topic warrants a Sticky of some time w/ substanciating facts and round about time frames of how to cycle your new phone's battery... and how often it's adviseable to fully discharge your phone.
