Cant update my phone plz help

Hi I've got an iPhone 4 the version Is 4.3.3 I want to update to the new version 5.1.1
But everytime I update it I leave it for awhile cus it says it's gonna take 9 hours but everytime I go to school and come back it's gone back zero percent

iTunes is telling you the update is going to take 9hrs?!? Wow!! Have you tried downloading the 5.1.1 IPSW then manually pointing iTunes at it for the update?

Yes It said that but my internets slowest piece of ***Moderation Notice*** in the world it only loads 0.20 mbps

Unfortunately... @ .2 mbps you're not going to get anything downloaded fast at all. My suggestion... take your computer somewhere where the internet is faster. Probably your only option... sorry.

You could always ask a friend to download the 5.1.1 ipsw for you. Since you're at 4.3.3 I would recommend preserving the baseband with a custom ipsw too. It could come in handy later, if you needed an unlock or want to sell your iPhone. The ipsw file is usually about 700-800mbs so a 2gb flash stick would suffice.
