Bought a 4s off craigslist, Japanese carrier, Can I unlock?

Ive been stumped on this for sometime now, and I cant seem to get anywhere. I tried redsn0w/ultrasn0w, but I didnt really expect it to work. Any ideas?

The only way to unlock a 4S is via hardware(Gevey Ultra S from AppleNBerry)
