Is Apple addressing this problem? I'm seeing a lot of people saying that their bluetooth head units no longer show song info or let you pause and skip tracks. My dad's pioneer unit does this now since we've gotten iPhone 5's. The weird thing is I don't have a bluetooth head unit, but I have the bluetooth add on thing for my unit and it still is fully functional. But it's a single din unit so it never did show song info. But the pause and forward and back buttons work great.

My Mazda 3 stock radio will not display track info, and it will not pause either. Track skip works without issue.

On my side I have 5 Bluetooth devices all are pairing and working well with my iPhone 5. (1) Car Kit Hands free Bluetooth FM Transmitter in my car. (2) Creative D100 Wireless Portable Bluetooth Speakers. (3) Logitech Wireless Headset H800.
(4) C6 A2DP Headset. (5) AVF1 A2DP headset. All are working to full satisfaction without any drama.

Nothing you mentioned has an LCD readout with song info and stuff like that. It seems to me that it's only stuff that reads song info through bluetooth that's having the issues.

The car kit has a LCD readout. Well I have just gone and checked that again in my car, I can pause and I can skip or move to the next track, but you are right, the song info is not displayed as they used to be with my iPhone 4.
