go in the phone browser (Safari) to JailbreakMe 3.0 and follow the instruction there, you will be jailbreak fast!

whats the current ios for gsm iphone 4? and whats the easiest jailbreak ? i need to help my friend because they messed up their iphone 4 but i dont want to upgrade it and not be able to jailbreak it

4.3.5. What firmware are you currently running.

im running 4.2.1 lol yeah i know but i dont want to update right now rather wait till ios5
so 4.3.5 is the newest version ? and what do i use to jailbreak it ?will jailbreak me work ?

Stay on 4.2.1 and jailbreak with Greenpois0n. 4.3.5 only has a tethered jailbreak available.

well im not doing anything to my phone i was planning on helping my friend because he messed up his phone so he needs to restore it and also jailbreak it. so whats the most recent ios that i can fully jailbreak ? i know that he has something higher then 4.2.1 i believe something like 4.3 something.

If he messed up his phone and needs to restore it his only choice is to restore 4.3.5 and do a tethered jailbreak unless he has his SHSH blobs saved for an earlier firmware so he can downgrade.
