9to5 Mac has exciting news today that backs up the recent story from TiPB that Apple will start selling the iPhone 5 on either October 7 or October 14, with the former date more likely as apparently the phone is almost ready to be released. According to 9to5 Macs sources, Apple will start taking pre-orders for the next iPhone on either September 29 or 30, with 9to5 Mac saying that it believes that Apple will eventually settle on the 30th to start taking the pre-orders. The report also says that the mysterious sources think that the iPhone 5 launch event, which will be held by Apple to announced the phones imminent arrival, will be sometime in September, rather than in October, which contradicts what Kara Swisher said on All Things D about an iPhone launch event in October. One things for (almost) sure, we dont have long to wait to find out who was right!
