On the phone select SETTINGS, GENERAL, ABOUT then wait a second or two then follow the instructions.

I didn't get instructions. Maybe because I rebooted. I did notice the Cellular on/off button. Is that new or as usual something I just didn't notice.

The instructions were to press OK and reboot phone. After that go back to About and your Verizon version should be 13.1

OK, I've watched way too many episodes of X Files. Makes me wonder if they are really locking our iPhones

I did see the popup, but am already @ 13.1.....

Mine says carrier version, 13.1 So Either it worked or it was all an illusion.
