Accidentally updated iphone 3g. Cydia was installed.

Hi, I need help!
I bought an iphone 3g, but didn't know it was jailbroken. So I realized when I tried to update. It keeps showing an image of a usb cable and an iTunes logo. I tried restoring in DFU mode, but I get an error 0x80000065.

I heard I had to have saved SHSH files, but I don't know what they are. Is it possible to get them? How should I proceed?

on the iphone 3g you dont need to save any shshs's

check your firmware and baseband but the iphone 3g is pwned for life.. also i advise NEVEr upgrade it to any of the 4.XX firmwares it will lag like crazy

You want to upgrade it to what iOS? use tinyUmbrella to take it out of recovery mode and then restore it or upgrade to a new one but don't go to above 4.2XX
