5c heated up in my pocket and battery drained battery.

Not sure why this happened but my phone heated up in my pocket and drained the battery from 50% to 0 in about 30 minutes.

So far only once. Hope some bad application was not running.

Mine became super-heated (too hot to pick up) when charging the other day but I don't think that's the same thing. I'd definitely talk to either your carrier or Apple. A super-heated battery could be a precursor to a serious issue. Better to be safe than sorry.
