4.1 jailbreak straight from phone.

I'm running on 4.1 firmware and I was just wondering if I could jailbreak my phone without having to download any of the greenpois0n, limera1n, etc. to my computer. I would greatly prefer to just do it straight from safari on my phone.

Go to JailbreakMe, that may work, I think they support OS4.0 and OS4.1. You can do it from Safari on your phone. Or maybe it was 4.0.1? I forget

I think Jailbreakme only worked up to 4.01 from memory... I could be wrong though.

pretty sure jailbreakme no longer works i think apple blocked ota (over the air) jailbreak.

That link is the wikipedia article I googled for you xizif. Looks like 4.0.1 is the latest version it supports. So to answer your question... unfortunately nope... you will need to download an app to JB it for you.

You need green poision or limerain in your computer to jailbreak 4.1. You don't need to install anything just run the program...
