I have an iPod Touch 2nd Gen MC Model running iOS 4.2.1 firmware. I can't find any way to jailbreak 4.2.1 or downgrade to 4.1 or 3.x. (I don't have any shsh blobs saved.)
I have tried GreenPois0n RC6.1 to jailbreak and I cannot get it to work. I have tried it on both my iPod and a friends (same setup; mc,4.2.1,etc...) and I get a Failed
error message from greenpois0n. I watched dozens of videos on Youtube for jailbreaking iPod 2gen on 4.2.1 with greenpois0n and they all work fine but something I am doing is not working. When the code and everything comes up on the iPod in youtube videos, mine just stays on a black screen and throws an error. And I am pretty sure its not just my iPod because I have tried the same method with several like I said earlier.
