Old iPod (2nd Gen) Jailbreak (4.2.1)

So I'm having trouble jailbreaking this 2nd generation iPod Touch on 4.2.1. Although this might seem extraneous, I have a Mac, which is running Lion (10.7.3). I have tried to jailbreak with both Redsn0w and Greenpois0n. Redsn0w says that it can't jailbreak an MC version (or whatever). Greenpois0n just keeps failing.

I am pretty dead set on using either of those two programs, but I suppose I'll accept some other programs.

The urgency is that I am doing these iPods for my friends, and I need to get them back to them as soon as possible.

It is iOS 5 for older devices. It is a modified version of iOS3.x(for speed) with iOS 5 capabilities.

I have used it myself, and it works great.

It is basically a custom IPSW you download
