102 apps not in folders now

Hi

ive got 102 apps on my iphone 4.
they were all neat in folders.
i downloaded 2 apps earlier and went to transfer them into the correct folder.

how ever that didn't happen.
the folder i dragged the app into totally disappeared.
and i ended up with the same app twice on my phone .

i could still search for the apps and use them but i couldn't find the folder.

i synced my phone in itunes and that didn't bring the folder back.

i turned the phone off and back on to find all my apps single not in any folders at all and its done my head in putting them in folders.

does anyone no why this could be

Did you update any of your apps in the containing folders? iOS 4 apparently has a bug that sometimes makes apps scatter out of a folder whenever you update an app in the containing folder.
