Lately, I've had trouble using the native YouTube app. "The movie could not be played," is what always comes up after trying to stream any video. I'm on iOS 4.1 and I have already tried a restore stock firmware (unjailbroken), the later, tried it after jailbreaking again, via Redsn0w.
The problem persists with my wife's iPhone as well.
Lastly, the cydia app, MxTube, does not stream, nor download these YouTube videos either. Only can play previously downloaded stuff.
Resetting the wireless router and cable modem had no effect.
Has anyone experienced this? Can someone please offer suggestions on how I might fix this issue with YouTube?
