why can't i get facetime in my car?

i thought that since i can connect to the internet in my car i should be able to face time. not so. can u tell me why?

Face time works only on wifi unless u jailbreak.

Ah, i guess i assumed since he said he can connect to the internet i assumed Wifi. Fail.
