FaceTime and FaceTime icon

My sister, my boyfriend and I, each of us have an iPhone 4. My sisiter's phone has the facetime and an facetime icon, My boyfriend has facetime but can't get the icon to appear, when they use facetime to call eachother, he have to go to 'contact' then tap on facetime. My phone is simply no facetime anywhere. So I can't make FaceTime call at all. We looked everywhere and reset the phone, but no luck. Any idea?

Any help will be appriciated !

Hi,
Seems like your boyfriends iPhone is on a previous iOS. Ask him to update his iPhone using iTunes! The previous iOS didn't have the Facetime icon!

Very odd. I am on iOS 5.1 and don't have a Facetime app. I can only do it thru Contacts. As far as I know, only iPads and iPod Touches have a Facetime app.

As for your phone, check Settings -> FaceTime and make sure that it is on, has your correct Apple ID and shows your phone number.
