whatsapp preview

Hi, I've recently downloaded whatsapp 2.12.4 and I've sadly found out they removed messages previews from lock screen. Is there a way to bring them back maybe through a cydia app?

I'm running the app on a jailbroken iOS 7 iphone 5s and I wouldn't delete and reinstall an older version of whatsapp or I'd lose all the chats/medias
