Still wet outside — a low-pressure area north of the state is currently pulling “Nolo,” now a hurricane, directly towards the Big Island. Sometime later tonight, a high-pressure area will displace the low-pressure area and cause “Nolo” to make a sharp left turn away from the islands. The sooner this happens, the better off we’ll be.
