Video Not Supported In MMS

My girlfriend and several friends that send me videos and audio messages via MMS always worked on my 3GS, Now them same friends and still my girlfriend, sends me videos or audio attachments via MMS I get file not supported errors. They are using the same phones that my 3GS had no problem playing, But my Iphone 4 will not. Why? Is there a codec missing here or what. Some have an LG and some a samsung.

I know specific audio formats will work thru mms but haven't ever receved a movie. I would just assume it has to do with the format.

Try going to setting and reset network settings.
