Vertical Scrolling on iPhone 4

Hi -
I just bought a new iPhone 4 and the vertical scrolling on it is choppy and jerky, not smooth. I never had this problem with my iPhone 3, so I was wondering if this is normal for iPhone 4, or if it's a defect just on my new phone. Any answers or help will be GREATLY APPRECIATED!!

Should be smooth try a reboot see if that helps if not bring it back.

if that does not work try restoring the device to a newer firmware

Welcome,

As already suggested try a reboot (lock and home button until you see the apple logo). Should work. If not try a restore. If that still doesn't work return it and ask for another one...
