Updating my iTunes on my Windows PC

I had a lot of trouble when I was initially upgrading my iTunes to 5.1 and now there are updates galore and it's giving me trouble how do I update my iTunes on my windows pc? It's running windows 7 currently, not good at this so keep it simple please so I can understand. Thanks for any and all help given in advance.

If its causing you problems, the easiest way would be to uninstall it and download the latest version.

First try clicking "Help" at the top of the iTunes window, then "check for updates."

Just google iTunes download and download the latest version it will over write the old version and should work fine. I think the latest version is 10.6.something lol

Are you confusing an iTunes update with an iOS update? They are two separate systems.. Surely you aren't still using that old of an iTunes version?
