Unlocked 3GS on baseband 06.15.00

Hi Experts,

I just got my iPhone 3GS Unlocked by a phone repair shop and they downgraded by iOS 4.1 and installed iPad baseband and using ultrasn0w to unlock the phone. My iPhone is working fine and no problems.

I asked them to upgrade my phone to iOS 5.0.1 but they said it could lock or brick the phone.

Yesterday I opened Cydia and found on the top that I have shsh blob saved for iOS 4.1 and 5.0.1 so can I update to 5.0.1

Any help or suggestion will be appreciated ?

NB: GPS on my phone is working fine !

As long as you restore a custom 5.0.1 firmware you will be fine.
