That is the 64 thousand dollar question. Hopefully iOS 6 will finally have a solution for this.

They were working with Google on that at one point then got into a fight over it apparently and it went away. It would be nice to get that. In the meantime, Motion X is working fine with me. You do have to pay $9.99 for turn by turn for a year, but I can live with that for now.

Also try Waze. It gives you turn by turn for free plus info on traffic, etc

Isn't Waze the "crowd sourced" Nav system? I wonder how much data that eats up while you are using it.

Waze uses a lot ofdata and also uses excess battery as well if you use it longer than 2 hours Navfree is the one I use now and it's free

Navfree strange? I mapped my drive home from work and I have a major highway I use but the map has me taking side streets whole way home? I tried shortest route and fastest route and neither has me using highway?
