    Hi
Could be a saga of a series of screw ups - Here's what happened and I need help

I had an iPhone 5 which I gave to my son as I got a 5S as a Company phone
Had all my Pictures, Music, contacst etc.

When I synced the new phone I got the Contacts but not the photos or Music
I opened an Apple account for my son but when my account is open and connect his phone I see all my Music and photos I just want to get them over to my phone and get them off my sons as his phone is full
It eems as though both phones are stil connected to my account

I am also getting messages that iCoud storage is almost full but have not added any new data / Music etc.

Any help would be humbly appreciated

When you get a new device, there are various options to get the content to the new device:
Transfer content from an iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch to a new device - Apple Support
In your case, revert to your own Apple ID on your old phone, then follow the steps described in the link.

I suppose you kept all your content on your son's iPhone, and just changed the Apple ID to his new ID?
It would be easier to get your content off his device, when you erase it after using it's backup for your new device.
If you wish to share apps, music, ... with him, set up family sharing. He can keep his Apple ID.
    Here's how it works:
    Family Sharing - Apple Support

    Hope that helps.
