Syncing Problem

I have an Iphone 4S and I am having a problem syncing an album from Itunes. I purchased the album from I Tunes and have synced the phone several times but the new album will not go to my phone. Any suggestions?

Have you "selected/ticked" the album in iTunes before syncing...?

Yes the album is selected to be synced.
