Smaller Photo Displayed on IPHONE 5 screen?

Hi I just got my Iphone 5 and the photos are smaller length-wise on my iphone
5 than my iphone 4s!

Does this seem right!!?

Now I understand it will not fill the whole screen, but why is it smaller
length-wise?

Is not the phone screens the same width so shoudnt the photos still at least
be the same size, not smaller!

Nevermind it just looks like the 4s just blew up the pics leaving out parts of the photo to fill the screen...
