Slow charging with usb extension cable.

Hate the short length of the Apple charging cable and someone had mentioned about getting a male to female usb cable to put between the Apple lighting cable and the usb a/c plug. Well I got a three footer and used it as mentioned above. It will charge but at a much slower rate and pretty often when I'm using the phone as in typing or trying to swishing the screen, the this will hang up a bit or act jumpy. Cant figure out why this would happen. Its only transfering power from the plug to the lighting cable. Anyone else experience this?

I use a USB extension cable and I don't have any problems. Was it cheap? Maybe it wasn't insulated well and the whole current isn't making it to your phone.

You will only get that condition with very cheap USB extension cables. Basically it is acting like an antenna and every bit of RF (Radio Frequency) noise around you is interfering with the charging of the phone. Replace the cable.
