This is a video demonstrating the performance of Skype for iOS over a 3G network connection. The iPad that the video is playing on is connected to WiFi, but the iPhone 4 used to call was on 3G with about 3 bars. The speed is pretty good, the quality is alright, but not as good as Facetime. Hopefully we will see Skype enhance further into the iOS video calling scene.

I downloaded the Skype app, but have yet to try facetime on it...need to find another 4 user out there I know lol, all my friends have a 3G or 3GS.

Skype don't use FaceTime so you can video call anybody else with a supported device or someone using a PC.... Jeeezz!!
