Siri wont remember.... Help

Siri refuses to remember relationships such as girlfriend roommate etc.... It asks if I want it to remember but when I say yes, Siri responds with a cant remember status with this profile.... How come? What do I need to change ?

Are you using google contacts by any chance? I had that issue with mine and since I could care less where my contacts are I put them all in iCloud and haven't had a problem since.

Yes I am using google. iCloud only backs up my new contacts for some odd reason can't figure it out... The Siri problem resolved itself today...
