Set Timezone on iphone 6

My new 6 (4.7 inch) has New York set as my timezone but I'm in North Carolina. The phone doesn't seem to want to let me change. Maybe I just don't know how. Any help would be appreciated.

New York is Eastern Time Zone, which NC is in as well. That will work for you.

Thanks. I guess it is now that I think about it. It just didn't look right.
