Based on the production figures I've seen, The iPhone 6 is being produced at a rate 2 1/2 times greater than the iPhone 6 plus. 400,000 per day vs 160,000 per day. Apple, at least, thinks the iPhone 6 will easily outsell the iPhone 6 plus. Based on the demand so far, Apple will gave to greatly increase production of the iPhone 6 plus.
