Same Gmail Account Showing Twice

Hello, first post here...

When I got my iPhone I entered my gmail info as I was promoted to do so (as you know, that method does not "push" mail.) I then learned about pushing, so I entered my gmail info into the Exchange and now receive my mail that way (pushed.)

My issue is, I now have the same account twice; it's not the end of the world, but if I have 5 new messages, the badge shows 10, once for each account (the exchange account and the original method) Can I delete the non-exchange account? Will I be losing any capabilities, etc?

Again, this is the same gmail account...just entered twice, with one of those methods being via Exchange.

Yes you can delete the non exchange gmail account, it will not affect the second account at all.
