The iPhone's Exchange account is very useful, especially for synching Contacts, email, Gmail Calendar, etc. Both my iPhones have an Exchange GMail account; however, my wife's iphone asks for an Exchange Password when she turns on the iPhone every morning. Mine doesn't.

Any ideas why her phone continuously asks for an Exchange password, daily -- it didn't use to. She always "cancels" out of the Password request but gets her Gmail anyway when she selects it without entering any password. Any ideas?? Thanks.

NOTE: I'm assuming the Exchange password and the GMAIL account password is one and the same!!!! Right?

try out thise settings and see hiw it goes.

-Email: ******@gmail.com
-Domain: (leave blank)
-Username: (use your email address from above)
-Password: (use the correct) password: enter it again
-Description: Exchange
Then the next screen will show the same and ask for server info:
-Server: m.gmail.com
-Then touch "Done"

Thanks for the replies, bab2010. However, I just fixed the issue!! My wife changed her GMAIL password recently and the password works fine -- on GMAIL However, for some strange reason, the Exchange network ALSO wants that new GMAIL password! I inserted it, and no more password nags.
Thanks again.
