Rumour: New Video Appears Online Showing Jet White iPhone 7 Mockups

Following on from last month’s story from Mac Otakara that sources in Apple’s Taiwanese supply chain had said that Apple has plans to release a Jet White colour variant of the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus, well-known Apple leaker Sonny Dickson has posted a video that supports this rumour.

The video, which was posted by Dickson on his Twitter account, shows casing mockups of what appear to be a glossy white iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus. The mockups were most likely obtained from a third-party Apple vendor, possibly one based in China.

As to whether or not the mockups shown are genuine, it seems that even Dickson himself is not completely sure himself, as he tweeted, rather tentatively, “Could this be the Jet White iPhone 7?’ when he posted the video.

If the video should prove to be genuine, however, it means that Apple will be releasing a Jet White iPhone in 2017, doubtless hoping that it will be as popular as the Jet Black iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus.

The term Jet White is nonsensical as Jet is a term used to describe how black something is.
