Quick question

So I have read a ton and not seeing what I'm looking for. I'm currently in Alaska on an extended network. If I jailbreak will it screw up my data where I need to reathenticate or the such? I ask because my kid factory reset my NYC incredible that I was using for Internet for my laptop but because of the extended network it won't boot a data service till the phone hits the lower 48 for regular Verizon cell coverage. I can't risk losing all my data packages so thanks in advance for any advice.

Since I can't vouch for the 1 upper state And its service i wouldn't risk trying to jailbreak. What fw are you using.

Ok...you could use jailbreakme.com to jailbreak it won't ask you reauthenicate your network..just open safari on your phone and go to http://www.jailbreakme.com and click the free button. (it's the only button there)
