Do you mean downgrade? You can do this as long as you have the shsh blobs. If you don't you're stuck with the current firmware

I'm wonder is iFaith will work is a tool to take a backup of SHSH blob that is required to downgrade to an older version of iOS, even if Apple stops signing it.
