Question about messaging setting

Hey guys,
I have a question that there may not be an answer to but what the heck.
Is there a way to set the text messaging or email so that it will return to the inbox when the home key is pressed rather than stay on the last message. It is very annoying to go back into you messages and have to back out to inbox every time.

I just switched from an Android and it worked that way. I am finding alot of things that Android can do Apple won't allow Iphone to do.
