Question about email (sender field)

Okay this is about these emails I've been texting with a friend through email, when recently the sender has changed to some random name, has a phone number & everything under "other". But my friends number is still there under "home".very strange, anybody have any insight into this? TIA. Also the date the sender changed was under "anniversary" field.
