It either works or it doesn't when it comes to this no? Just get a free one and forget about it. I think I had ATTs version on here. I never used it. It got deleted at some point.

Look on my avatar- that a QR. It contain URL so if you scan it you can browse to the URL encoded in the QR

The google app has a qr reader. I deleted my other ones since google is so versatile. Never had a problem with it yet and added tons of contacts with it.

I can't wait for this QR fad to go away. You need two or three apps just to read them, and that still doesn't guarantee it'll be read. In that time I could easily manually enter a URL. I have yet to download an app that reads even 2/3 of the ones I come across. These things are a solution looking for a problem.
