Hi all, I've been trying to unlock my AT&T iphone 5 without success. I'm on 6.1 which I've jailbroken with evasi0n. I previously paid an IMEI unlock site to do the factory unlock but it hasn't worked (i've inserted a non-ATT SIM card, and tried to connect with iTunes and rebooted both devices multiple times). I've seen some threads where people do a factory restore on the iphone to unlock the phone, but i'm concerned that if I do this, I will lose my jailbreak because my phone will update to 6.1.4.

I'm willing to pay another time for the factory unlock if it will actually work and allow me to keep my jailbreak. Is this possible or do I have to choose between a jailbroken locked phone and an unlocked, but not jailbroken phone? Hope to hear from you guys soon as I'm currently traveling internationally and need to use my phone asap.

Thanks!

Jailbreak might be effected because it is not permanent unlock like factory unlock and may disable when you will update the iOS.
