I have a brand new iPhone 4S locked with AT&T, it is the 5.0.1. firmware, I really want to use this phone as soon as possible, I am with Bell.
I've been asking around and everyone is telling me something different, one person said I can get a gevey sim, whatever that means, another person tells me I can unlock it, but I have to wait a month max because it's not done yet, another person tells me that I can unlock it now, you just have to find someone to do it, another person told me it's going to be probably another 4 months before it gets unlocked.
Now, I want to use this iphone 4S as soon as possible, it is the first time EVER I've had an up-to-date phone, what are my options? Is an unlock available? can I do it myself? if there isn't, how long do you think I have to wait? should I try to sell this and get another phone? could you guys give me the right answers so I can be clear of my problem and find the right solution for it?! please?
