Movie Night Out is a new free app from NCM Media Networks that aims to help you to plan the perfect movie-going evening about town. To kick off the evening, it will help recommend a movie based on the kind of experience you're looking for, even going so far as to make suggestions as to what to do before and after the film. The app also includes reviews, trailers, details of showtimes and theater locations, as well as a feature that enables you to buy tickets directly from the app via links to Fandango or theater circuit websites. Then, with Citysearch reviews and recommendations, Movie Night Out can also help users choose where to do their pre-movie shopping, have dinner, or even buy flowers for their date, and then finish the night off with dessert or going out with friends to a local club, for example.
For those who like to be really organised, the app goes even further, enabling you to save a plan, map it out on Google Maps, and share it with friends via Facebook, Twitter and email.
