9to5 Mac reports today on Apples plans for a one-click movie ticket purchasing app, called Movie, as shown in its recent patent application filed with the US Patent & Trademark Office, and as featured on Patently Apple. As detailed in the application, the app would offer access to movie times, as well as previously viewed movies and trailers via the iTunes Movie Trailers page. Even more interestingly, as shown in the screenshot, the app would also be linked to the iPhones calendar, and would even remind you if you had a scheduling conflict because of a previous engagement, for example, as well as sharing the ticket-buying details with your contacts. You have to imagine that the newly announced iOS 5 Reminders feature would also work well with such an app, seeing as its also designed to sync with your calendar. Patently Apple also ventures to suggest that the app will be associated with other apps via Apples iWallet.
