Connect to iTunes and Sync your iPhone. Once complete there will be a meter at the bottom that shows the usage of Apps, Music, Pics, Videos, Etc...

Forgive me but what you say above is a little over my head, when you say 'connect to iTunes' is that on my phone, and 'sync your phone' what exactly should I do. Do I need a laptop for this?

The process I referenced is via iTunes on a computer. Have you ever connected your iDevice to iTunes on a computer?

Never connected it to a computer. My wife has a Sony vaio.
