This started happening recently, when i go to my phone and turn on the screen I receive messages from minutes to hours before but my phone had never vibrated or rang at the time it was supposed to be received. So I have to be turning on my screen to see if I got any messages. I don't know if I changed any settings any help is greatly appreciated.

Curious, are you on iOS 6.0.1 by any chance? If so, I highly recommend you update to 6.0.2 because I would have that exact issue sporadically. From what I could tell it was being caused by iOS not switching properly from WiFi back to cellular data while in sleep mode.

UPDATE: So I updated my phone and I am still noticing the issue. Any other suggestions?

Sorry, it stopped happening to me after the 6.0.2 update. And I couldn't solve it under 6.0.1. So I don't know of any solution.
