[FONT=&quot]Following the recent news that the iPhone is selling like hot cakes at Verizon and AT&T stores in the US, T-Mobile has just released new figures to show that the iPhone is also proving to be an equally big hit on its network. According to All Things D’s Ina Fried, T-Mobile announced this week that it has more than 1 million iPhones using its network, which is approximately 10 percent of all smartphones used on T-Mobile, which currently comes to over 10 million. Now what makes these figures especially interesting, Fried points out, is the fact that T-Mobile doesn’t even sell the iPhone, so in order to use an iPhone on T-Mobile you first have to get it unlocked, or buy one of the new unlocked iPhones that have just gone on sale, then you have to cut your T-Mobile SIM card in order to fit in the iPhone’s smaller slot, and finally, Fried says, you’ll have to get used to the phone running on T-Mobile’s old data network because it can only access 3G HSPA bands via AT&T.
