Hi -- I'm new, here out of desperation. My iOS 5.1.1 iphone 4 is having the repeated disappearing contacts/apps shut down problem. I haven't upgraded to iOS 6 because I do not like the new google maps app (doesn't look up your iphone contacts/does the diagonal view by default), and I want to keep the old google maps. Back in Sept, a hacker got the old google maps to work on iOS 6 sort of -- does anyone know if there are solid Cydia apps that make the old google maps work on iOS 6 if I were to upgrade and am then able to jailbreak it? (Not sure yet if I will be able to jailbreak vs. whether I have any other issues that will prevent me jailbreaking like SHSH blob issues which I'm still trying to understand) I also am interested in whether staying on 5.1.1 and jailbreaking might yield some way to fix my buggy 5.1.1/disappearing contacts issue, but maybe that is a question for a different sub-forum. Thanks for any help, advice, info and thoughts!!
