Notifications - Stock Market

When I swipe down from the top of the screen I get stock market data.

When I'm not using wifi, what resources are being used to get this data and keep it up to date.
And, how do I turn it off.

At the bottom of the Notifications' screen for Today, there is an Edit button. You can turn off the Stocks widget from there.

When you are not using WiFi you will be using mobile data.

Unless you turn off cellular data in Settings.
