Remove the stocks I don't want from the stock app...and KEEP them gone.

Ok so there are about 10 default stocks (VZW, APPL, etc) in the stock app. I want to use the stock app and the notification center ticker tape, but ONLY for the stocks I'm interested in and own. I don't give a you know what about the Hong Kong's stock market, for example. But every time I delete them - if my phone reboots or maybe it's random (but DEFINITELY when it reboots) it seems to re-populate the app with all the default stock options, which is really annoying. Why does it do that? How can you keep only the few stocks you actually want to see in the app?

I'm running the 4S with 5.01.

I doesn't occur in iOS 5.1.

Is it safe to assume you are jailbroken?

Then odds are when you reboot, part of the "initial setup" code is now running for the "Stocks" application when you launch it. IE there is a flag on the flash disk that is getting reset, cleared or set to the wrong value on reboot and when Stocks loads it assumes it needs to repair/initialize itself.

Bummer. Not a deal breaker I'll just follow on my etrade app.
