I recently bought the midframe and motherboard and battery to build my own iPhone 4 but I forgot to buy the EMI shields. i have all other parts brand new. But no wifi when I try to select it. I read online that the EMI shield allows the wifi signal to work but I'm not sure if it will (no prior experience and even local repair guys I've talked to don't know what to do). The logic board doesnt appear to have any water damage, as the white sticker is still intact. I have not yet opened the logic board shields. Does anyone know if the EMI are the only problem or if it is a motherboard issue?
